The easy way is without building anything yet, on an empty map,
go straight to the left bottom corner, and try building a lobby
square. Of course it will tell you that you can't, but you'll
have double your money!!

To get lotsa money: build offices up to 10-15 floors, make sure
everybody is happy in building by providing lotsa elevators. then
check your finances to ensure you're making some profit.
inally, if you are making profits, minimise the SimTower window
and leave it for a few hours( i went out for my dinner in the mean time).
The next time you maximise it you should have a few million!
eg. when i left it for about 1hr, i have made a cool $15mil.

When you are beggining your tower hold down control and try to build a lobby on the
bottom right corner, it should give you some cash flow!

The best way to get the most amount of money is to build only
snack shops on the first 4 floors(1-4)up, and the first 4 floors
down(b1-b4). This will build the flow of traffic to you building
and bring op the cash flow alot. Also keep in mind to leave
space for the movie theater and the dance hall and the
medic center they all give the best profit when close to the
lobby.

In order to put elevators above the 30th floor you need to
space them as follows:

Leave room on the far left of you tower for your express
elevator.
Keep in mind that elevators can only expand 30 floors
so if you start one in the basement it counts as one
of the total expanded floors.
Build High and Wide !!!!!

Hold down Ctrl+Shift whe putting down your lobby before you build anything else.
You should have a 3 story lobby.

For windows version:
Do what you like with plenty of cash and a TOWER rating?
Load Simtower, Start New Game then save it straight away.
Save it as anything you like.(must close Simtower afterwards).
Now load you favorite hex editor and change the start of
the file from whatever (should be like 00.24.01.00) to:
00.24.06.00.06.06.06.06.06.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.
Save your changes and load it in SimTower.
You should have Millions & Millions of dollars and a
Tower Rating (Six Star).

To get LOTS OF MONEY AND ANY NUMBER OF RATING STARS, just
start a new game, save it then go into dos mode.
Enter into the directory with the saved tower and type:
debug (named tower).tdt
e 100 00 24 ?? 00 85 FF FF 00 [enter]
w [enter] **** ?? **** STANDS FOR THE NUMBER OF STARS
q [enter]
Then go back into windows, open the saved tower and you should have billions
of dollars.

- Towerhex.exe is a program to give you any number of stars and any amount of cash.
- Twrcheat.exe is a program which MUST be run before starting SimTower and it will give you an "Events"
menu. You can get treasure, terrorist and something else from it.

My suggestions:
i would make a office building to start out because:
Office
Gives the population of six in 1 office
It gives u more money for 1 weekend
they are cheaper
they do not require a lot of things like: Movie Theaters, Shops etc.
And They make an easy way to get 5 stars and they do not make piss u off like
the condo people do
